All the News That's Fit to Print

twisted views in black and white
a conscience only paper thin
pointed news every night
crammed down our throats again

sipping poison from a paper vial
perhaps to paralyze the mind
folded neatly in a pile
lay hours of precious time

vermin concealed in lairs
the purveyors claim no crime
each day peddling their wares
one subscription at a time

you know,, i long ago stopped watching the news,, choosing instead to research items of interest... i am not only happier this way,, but i find myself seldom influenced or falling prey to bullshit.....

I agree a thousand percent. In my opinion, the media has become merely another business, uninterested and unwilling to seek the truth. I'm not some hermit that shields myself from information, but I try to know the source and what agenda they promote.

Oh how true Dan...
Thank goodness the majority of us have the intelligence to realise that what is written or said by the media is not always the whole truth...........................
Can you imagine if we all took what the media says as gospel!!! :¬)
